The evolution of the image of internal affairs agencies in the context of social changes of the modern period

The purpose of the study is a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of the image of the internal affairs bodies of Russia, in the context of large-scale social transformations. The work covers the period from the formation of the modern police system in the 19th century to modern realities, highlighting the key stages of the transformation of public perception of law enforcement agencies. The author focuses on the analysis of the relationship between socio-political changes in the country and the dynamics of the image of the internal affairs bodies. The influence of such factors as the modernization of the state apparatus, the change of political regimes, the transformation of value orientations of society and the development of the information space on the formation of public opinion about the activities of law enforcement agencies is considered. Particular emphasis is placed on the study of the mechanisms of targeted formation of the image of the internal affairs bodies through the system of departmental symbols, rituals and communication practices. The evolution of the regulatory framework governing the interaction of the police with the population and its impact on changing public perception is analyzed. An important place is occupied by the study of regional features of the formation of the image of law enforcement agencies in various subjects of the Russian Federation, taking into account the specifics of the socio-cultural development of the territories. The role of mass media and modern digital platforms in the processes of constructing and correcting the image of the police in the public consciousness is studied. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of using the obtained results to develop effective communication strategies between the internal affairs agencies and society, improve the system of professional training of police officers and form a constructive public dialogue around the activities of law enforcement agencies.Downloads
