SYSTEM OF ASSESSMENT INDICATORS OF THE REGION’S INNOVATIVE ATTRACTION

Abstract

At present, in the context of foreign policy instability, the innovative development path acquires special urgency. The article examines domestic and foreign methods of assessing the innovative attractiveness of the regions. The main positive aspects and shortcomings of the existing methods are revealed. The indicators characterizing the innovative activity in the region are calculated, on the basis of which the rating of the regions of the Central Federal District for innovation attractiveness is built. The conclusion is made about the need for the formation of a new integrated system of indicators for assessing the innovative attractiveness of the region's economy, with a focus on foreign experience. This methodology should contain a system of indicators grouped in blocks characterizing different types of the region's potential: resource, scientific and technical, innovation, personnel, financial and economic. The information obtained on the basis of the methodology is based on a multidimensional assessment of the region's innovative attractiveness and will be of interest to experts.
