PRECONDITIONS AND IMPORTANCE OF SYSTEMATIZATION WORK OF M.M. SPERANSKY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEGAL TECHNIQUE OF THE RUSSIAN EMPIRE OF THE FIRST HALF OF THE XIX CENTURY

Abstract

The article discusses the significance of the theoretical approaches of the practical activities of M.M. Speransky on the systematization of legislation for the development of legal technology in the Russian Empire in the first half of the nineteenth century. A special role of M.M. Speransky is revealed as a systematizer of Russian law of the given historical period, which consists of the development of rules for the legal and systemic legal technique; highlighting the successive stages of streamlining legislation, a full-scale revision of existing law and the elimination of conflicts, duplication of norms. The authors conclude that M.M. Speransky formulated and implemented the theoretical and practical foundations of the systematization of legislation, which laid the foundation for a new direction of legal engineering in Russia.
