Charity in healthcare service during the first world war (the case of Yaroslavl province)

The purpose of the article is to analyze charity events in Yaroslavl province to help the healthcare service during the First World War. The article shows the activity of the population to provide material support to the sick and wounded soldiers in need of help in the hospitals of Yaroslavl province. The work of members of the Yaroslavl public on the creation of charity societies and unions is considered. The characteristic of the charity organizations stuff and their statutes are given. As a result, the author comes to the conclusion that the media which were constantly in interaction with the benefactors provided themselves all possible assistance.Downloads
