Abstract

The article examines the impact of the ethical code of conduct for public civil servant on the effectiveness of anti-corruption policy. The experience of foreign countries is considered for the implementation of a code of ethics in order to increase the effectiveness of the employees of their duties. The compliance with the ethical principles is the key to assessing the quality of professional work and official conduct of civil servants. These principles set the general guidelines of the civil service, thus ensuring its integrity and viability as a system. The introduction of requirements to official conduct of civil servants to the Russian legislation was not only a sign of greater attention to the ethical component of civil service as a professional activity, but also an indicator of awareness of the ethical dimension in the fight against corruption, so the unconditional implementation of all its provisions in the context of a frontal assault on corruption becomes today special meaning.
