n the article the main problems of development of public administration in modern Russia are revealed. The purposes and priorities of the state management in the conditions of carrying out the administrative reform are determined. The main priorities and prospects of development of public administration in new modern conditions are actualized. Effective mechanisms of personnel training for public service are revealed. The system of training of administrative personnel has to be complex, perspective and practice-focused. The author reasoned optimum measures of professional development of public and municipal officials on the educational platform of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
