Abstract

The article examines the role of public associations as an element of the new Russian statehood, as well as their development in the process of formation of the political system of Russia. Through participation in the activities of public associations various social groups have the opportunity to express their interests, to influence the state, which reflects the basic role of public associations in the political system of Russia.
