MICROFINANCE FUND IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESS IN THE REGION

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the current state of the results of the regional fund's activities as a microfinance tool, which allows stimulating and supporting the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the region. The author justifies that the Microfinance Funds allow to provide relatively small loans to small and medium-sized business entities that do not have access to banking services due to the fact that borrowers do not meet the requirements of the traditional financial system. The main directions of the branch structure of the guarantee support for the volume of provided guarantees are structured. The results of the research can form the basis for the development of stimulating directions for supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the region.
