IMPERIAL LAND NOBLE CADET CORPS IN PERSONNEL TRAINING FOR STATE CIVIL SERVICE

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to consider the role of the Imperial Land Noble Cadet Corps in the training of officials. The author draws attention to the fact that the university course assigned to the cadet corps in the 18th century allowed to produce specialists of a broad profile, whose knowledge could be useful in the civil service. However, the purposeful training of personnel for the civil department was secondary, due to the shortage of teachers quickly turned to fiction, and at the end of the XVIII century ceased altogether. As a result, there was a need to open special educational institutions for the training of civil servants.
