THE HISTORY OF USING DEATH PENALTY ON THE RELATION TO THE MINORS IN PREVOLUTIONARY RUSSIA

Abstract

The main goal of the work is the analysis of archival materials and legislative acts, in which examples are given, and the grounds for using the death penalty in relation to minors. Based on the above material, the author makes conclusions on the age characteristics and categories of offenses for which these decisions were made on capital punishment. Based on the narrative method, the author presented the main historical periods in the narrative style in which the general development of the system of punishment against minors and special cases of the application of the death penalty to them took place. The identification of historical and legal peculiarities in the application of the death penalty for minors in Russia was carried out on the basis of an analysis of official sources, normative legal acts and statistical data, which allowed the author to carry out a historical and legal description.
