PERSONALITY AND ACTIVITY OF THE PROPHET ISAIAH IN HISTORY AND THE FORMATION OF CHRISTIAN RELIGION

Abstract

In this article, the author examines the role and place of the personality of the Prophet Isaiah in the aspect of the formation of Christianity, as well as its impact on the state policy and society of Judea. The origin of the prophet and his call to serve God are considered. The personal influence of Isaiah on Hezekiah, the ruler of Judea, as well as the domestic and foreign policies that he implements, are revealed. The characteristics of the Prophet's personality, presented by historians and theologians, are studied. Based on the structural and meaningful analysis of the Book of Isaiah, the collective authorship of labor is revealed. The author's characteristic of a number of messianic prophecies of Isaiah is presented.
